Make me feel like I know them. Then flip on the scare switch for them and let me feel every moment of it as if I was actually there. What is it about? Movie overview taken from the official site: "After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to." ..I wish you good luck trying to sleep yourself - should you see this movie. This movie truly sucked me in, made me laugh, smile and be really, really scared. After seeing it, I couldn't help but talk about it, analyize it, wish there was more to see and I couldn't wait to tell the world to go see it too. You should note, the sound in this movie definitely plays a major role in the scare factor. If you know of a theater where the sound quality is awesome, go there. Don't settle for a subpar theater. It's a true audio experience. Excellent job by the couple's actors Katie Featherston (Katie) & Micah Sloat (Micah) who are both acting in this as their feature debut. They were very believeable and you'd think they'd been doing this for years. The couple's psychic Mark Fredrichs’ which is hired on the second day of this fictional/documentary, also hits a great note in turning the once fun couples lives quickly into fear with his own mentioned feelings of horror and expectations of what's lingering amongst them. The movie uses the actor's real names as if to help make this film more believeable like the viral Blair Witch Project - leaving you wondering if this is real or not; Job well done. If you're interested in seeing a scary movie that will leave you scared to be in your own home, check this out. You should know this is not a high gore/slasher movie for viewers who only like those types of scary movies.
